Sebastian breathed a sigh of relief after Sam’s Mankey finally released him but the action was a complete contradiction to how he was feeling. Yes, he was more than happy to be free but right now there were a cocktail of emotions swimmingly in his head and Sebastian felt dizzy. The predominant feeling was that of fear but it was being overridden by the desire to not let said fear show. The operative was hot stuff, there no mistaking that but Sebastian’s flirting and bravado? That was more a coping mechanism for the situation at hand than genuine attraction. There was always something sexy about a bad boy but not in a scenario where like this, backed into a corner.
Then he understood it, this was the first time Sebastian felt powerless. It was like when he’d heard of Finn’s gaybashing expect now he was an active participant, not a bystander an what had he done in reaction to those feelings? Sucked Finn’s dick and engaged in a sexual relationship with him. During these panicked thoughts and revelations, Sebastian managed to maintain his smut, flirting half-smile as he took Nox’s out stretched hand and hauled himself up.
“I have to say, Lopez might send on the dullest assignments but he keeps pretty friends I’ll give him that.” Sebastian replied to Puck, trying to distract himself as best as possible but that didn’t last long as Nox introduced himself, bringing Sebastian back to harsh reality. “Nox? How mysterious. I love men with a bit of mystery.” He said, laying a hand on Nox’s chest and smirking up at him, the perfect performance of supreme confidence. “Options? I already know what I want. I really do love gifts and you’re going to need someone with these two who at least understands the concept of stealth.”
A deal with the devil. Sebastian’s adrenaline was pumping, still so scared but excitement was building again and the dizziness was returning. There was nothing else he could do, he had to join or else. Maybe it would work out well, maybe this could get him one step to close to what he wanted or maybe it was just going to be one terrible mistake.
Rolling his eyes, Puck couldn’t believe that Sebastian was actually hitting on the figure, who’s name was apparently Nox. It was odd though. Puck never figured for Sebastian to be one who’d be so calm in this type of situation where he could’ve been in real danger, given his previous luxurious lifestyle. Was it all an act or did Puck just peg Sebastian wrong? But at least he predicted Sebastian to have some smarts, glad that the lithe male agreed to join. Puck did not need to be witness to a murder right now and explain where the fucking son of the CEO of Silph co. disappeared to.
Puck had decided to ignore the insults being thrown at him, their opinion mattering very little to him. One was a hardened criminal, the other was a spoiled gay sex addict who could’ve possibly bitten off more than he could chew. They weren’t particularly important to him as say Dave or Finn or even Kurt. Opting to say nothing, puck simply let out a sigh out of the now boredom at seeing this whole scene play out and wondering what the hell these gifts were.
So this guy was Nox? Were they all going to get nicknames? That sounded sort of cool, if it didn’t have such negative connotations. Watching the interaction between Seb and Nox Sam felt slightly relieved, if Sebastian played his cards right they might all get out of this alright. Of course Sam wasn’t really worried about himself, but if he messed up his family would also pay.
Hearing the mild insult towards him and Puck, Sam tried to let it roll off him. Sebastians opinion mattered little, but Nox’s was slightly more important. If he started thinking badly of them then word might get up to the higher TR members and who knew what they would do. However, Sam didn’t say anything. Worried that another question might come out wrong, or stupid.
Nox raised an eyebrow at the hand on his chest, a little amused that the youth seemed to be coming onto him. He had to hand it to Sebastian though. Most people in his position would have pissed themselves or tried to run away. But this one…he was different. He wasn’t like the others. From what he’d heard from his subordinates who’d recruited Puck and Sam, they were doing it out of necessity. Both of them came from poor household and were doing this to support their families. Sebastian had no such reasoning.
Getting back onto his feet, he recalled Lux and stretched his back slightly before pulling out three Pokeballs from his belt. Two were ones he’d been given by his boss, but the third was one he’d only caught the day before. He sighed knowing that he’d have to give the newcomer the Pokemon. It was originally intended as a gift for his partner in crime Fera. A Pokemon he’d found slinking around northern Kanto a few weeks back but he hadn’t seen her in almost a month. The Elite’s had her on another mission and he missed her company. Well…he missed her snippy comments and the sex but he also missed her. They’d gone through the academy together and had been in the same team the entire time they’d been Grunts. Once they’d been made Lieutenants, they were assigned to each other, something they’d both been happy about. If there was one person he could trust within Team Rocket it was Fera. She loved the Pokemon and he’d been ecstatic to catch it, but he knew that he had to give Sebastian something. His bosses wouldn’t be happy if he let a potential recruit slip out of their grasp for the sake of his partners happiness.
Handing out the three Pokeballs to the boys in front of him, he waited for them to take them out of his hands, making sure they all took the one assigned to them. “I’d check I gave you the right ones. I’m sure I did, but I can never be too sure.”

“I’m avoiding Lopez’ slave labour and following you two, obviously. Don’t make your disappearances so obvious next time, hmm?” Sebastian shot back at Puck, annoyed at the sand all in his clothes. He was more than fine getting a little sandy but only when he was getting an orgasm out of it. Needless to say, getting attacked by a Pidgeot was no an experience which turned him on. Sebastian sat up, about to brush the sand out of clothing and hair but couldn’t make a second move before Sam’s abhorrent Mankey grabbed his legs.
Pulling a face, he ordered, “Sam, get this thing off me right now! What did you think I was going to do? Run away and tell everyone? Who do you take me for? Hummel?” Sebastian scoffed trying his best to get out of Mankey’s grip without kicking the Pokemon but to no avail. Huffing, he folded his arms across his chest, only just then noticing the very attractive Rocket operative make his way over.
When the man squatted down, Sebastian couldn’t he but appreciate how smoothly he did so, he bet the Rocket could sit on a dick just perfectly. Shaking his head a little, trying to dispel the filthy thoughts clouding his mind and focus on the very immediate danger. Adrenaline was running through him, from the sneaking to the being discovered, and Sebastian wasn’t sure if he was excite, scared witless or horny. Probably a good mixture of the three. Then the operative spoke, looking straight at him and asking who he was and what he was doing here.
Putting his most confident mask, Sebastian answered. “Well brooding, dark and handsome, I’m Sebastian Smythe and I’m here to tell you that you really need to hire some more covert staff. And what, might I ask, is your name?”
Sighing, Puck pinched the bridge of his nose. As if this situation wasn’t stressful enough, Sebastian had to go ahead and follow the two of them. It was fortunate that Puck was at least right in thinking that Sebastian’s morals weren’t as high as the rest of the group’s. Then again, I can’t be one to exactly talk. “There isn’t exactly a need to be so covert when it comes to them. Especially since they were all distracted by that dude meeting us. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one that noticed, right Sebastian?”
He had to admit though, Puck couldn’t help but feel a little bit amused at Sebastian’s reaction to being grabbed by Sam’s Mankey, Jas. That was nothing compared to the attacks Puck has been through, especially with Jack. “You’re no Kurt, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.” Turning to Sam, Puck gestured to Sam to release Jas. Sebastian wasn’t going to be running, at least not with the way Puck saw him eye-fucking the operative for a quick second.
Sam stared at Sebastian, not sure wether to roll his eyes or what. Well, Sebastian didn’t seem like he was going to tell anyone- unless of course the information came in handy. This was a risky situation, if Sam trusted anyone it wasn’t Sebastian. He wondered what the TR operative was going to do to him, Sam wasn’t sure he was up to watching a murder. Although it looked like TR liked to operate in ways that wouldn’t totally call attention themselves. Jasper still held a pretty good grip on him but as he exchanged a look with Puck, Sam called his Mankey back, “Yeah something along those lines, I’d say I was sorry but..” Sam shrugged, leaving the sentence hanging. This could not happen again, and now it was going to take even longer to get their orders. Sam felt like he had some choice words for Seb but maybe later. If there was a later.
Finally succumbing to an eye roll as Sebastian began to hi on the operative, Sam turned away. He had to give the guy credit for acting so boldly, he had to know he was in pretty severe danger. Sam didn’t think Seb was dumb, or maybe he had been overestimating the guy all along. Well, they’d see in a few minutes.
Nox stared at the youth for a moment before throwing his head back and laughing. Most people in this situation would be shitting themselves. Laying prone on the ground, three Team Rocket members stood metres away from them. He had to know that Nox wouldn’t allow him to just simply leave with the information so why was he still so confident and cocky. Whatever the reason was, Nox liked it and he was becoming more and more interested in recruiting the boy by the second. The grunts who’d told him that Puckerman and Evans were the two who showed promise were clearly morons. This new boy…Smythe…had already shown more Team Rocket potential, than the other two put together.
He was vaguely aware of Evans calling his Mankey back and Nox held a hand out to the boy. “Says the one who was just caught hiding behind some rocks. I have to hand it to you, you did well to follow both of them without being noticed, but that could honestly be because they’re both turning out to be useless.” He looked up at the other two with a smirk and shrugged at them. “No offence, boys.” Turning his attention back to Smythe, he kept his hand held out wondering if the other boy would take it. “I don’t do names, none of Team Rocket do, but they call me Nox.” His other hand went up to push the hair out of his face, - he really needed a haircut soon - and he sighed. “So now that you’re here and know about the two of them, what do you propose we do because right now I’m only seeing two options out of this for you.”

He was disappointed by Puck’s lack of reaction, he had to say. He had no idea why Muscles wasn’t more surprised by the revelation, Puckerman didn’t seem the typical Rocket type but then again neither did Sam. This was all quite a lot to take in for Sebastian, clearly the image he’d built of these two fine men he’d been traveling with wasn’t exactly accurate. He found actually kind of exciting, knowing that the two of them were secret bad boys ready to turncoat at any second. being a rocket seemed much more fun that being Lopez’s slave that was for sure.
This new guy seemed exasperated that he had to prove his identity but pulled out his phone anyway. Seconds later, Sam and Puck’s ringtones echoed through the empty beach cove. So they were communicating with the Rockets through text then? Seeming really risky, what if Burly read some of Puck’s messages? He’d be in a right little mess there.
Do something for them? There was no doubt about the two working with Team Rocket now and a present in return? Now Sebastian was really interested. He couldn’t ponder on the information too long however as the unknown Rocket looking right at him causes him to flinch and duck. Did he see? Had he known from the start he was hiding there? Sebastian wouldn’t be surprised.
Watching the guy punch in a message, Puck’s and Sam’s phone rang in their pockets. Taking it out, he confirmed that this dude did in fact work for Team Rocket. Contracting his Poke-ball, Puck clipped it back on his belt and proceeded to delete the message, just like he did all of Team Rocket’s messages when he got them. “Alright, so you’re Team Rocket.” Looking up and down, Puck could tell that this obviously wasn’t a grunt.
“The higher ups wanted to give us a present?” Puck couldn’t see why they would, at least with him. He was pretty sure that the Team wasn’t happy when they found out he ran away from the group, seeing how he was actually ordered to make up with them and get back in by any means necessary. The only possible thing would be to reward him with not helping out with the Daycare incident back in Vermillion.
“So what are we getting this time? Another stone, since you already paid off my family’s debts?” Puck still had the moon stone in his pack, but never mentioned it to anybody. This was also the first time he said the truth out loud in front of somebody. Sure it was Sam and a higher up, but it still made Puck feel a little better to say it out loud at least.
Sam hadn’t needed the confirmation, but he checked the phone anyway. Pocketing the phone again, Sam nodded attentively. “What do we need to do.” He made no mention of being introduced to Puck, or that he was even there. It wasn’t that he was upset- he just needed to reevaluate how he saw the other boy. Sam relaxed a little when he heard Puck’s reason for joining up, which was pretty much the same as his own. Another gift though? Sam raised an eyebrow, trying to think of what it could be. He still hadn’t used the stone he had been given, as Chanel was still reluctant to have it used.
Once again, Sam got the feeling he was being watched. Before it had made sense since I ha probably been the TR guy, but still having that feeling wasn’t good. Spinning around, Sam searched for a sign of someone else but only saw an outcropping of rocks.
Keeping an eye trained on the suspicious figure hidden behind the rocks, Nox ran his hand through his short dark hair. He didn’t like being questioned and Puckerman was starting to give him a headache. “If you’d both just shut up for long enough I’d get to that part.” The blonde wasn’t so bad, and if the situation was different he’d even go as far as to say he was his type, but Nox was not the sort to mix business with pleasure. That was, unless that pleasure earned him a promotion. “It’s simple really. We are currently…doing some business here and it involves the Volcano. I want you to stay away from it. We also want you to keep your meddling friends away from it. I know that’s pretty much impossible because your pathetic program seems to be made up of a bunch of bleeding heart types, but that’s what the higher ups want. Personally I couldn’t give a shit whether you stopped them or not, but I’m just the messenger. Just show you tried and they’ll keep paying you.”
He reached into his pocket, intent on giving them their Pokemon and leaving, but his curiosity over the identity of the mystery figure won out and he raised his fingers to his lips and let out a loud whistle before pointing to the rocks. His Pidgeot, Lux, streaked out of the sky and dove down at the rocks, intent on chasing the figure out of its hiding place. “I’ll get to your present in a second but first we have another guest to see to.”

The to of them began to talk, both questioning why exactly the other was out here. Sebastian was wondering himself because Lopez hadn’t mentioned anything about this, had he given Puck and Sam and more super secret and therefore ten times more interesting assignment. This was another reason why he was not particularly enthused about being made to do Lopez’s odd jobs because clearly there was an obvious bias when it came to handing out tasks. He had the right mind to just start ignoring whatever Lopez requested of him if this cycle of abuse continued but then two words pricked at his eyes and rang through his skull. Team Rocket.
Sam was honestly asking Puck if he was in Team Rocket? Sam was usually so unassuming, had he gone loopy from the boat ride? The accusation was so out of character for him, meanwhile Puck remained slacked against the tree, calm as could be… so why so Sam approaching so carefully, like he’d rouse a sleeping Snorlax? It was all so confusing and out of left field but none of that compared to when another figure dropped down from the rocks, one he didn’t recognise.
Sebastian moved in his crouched position to get a better earshot and sink further into the rocks as not to be seen, especially with Sam looking back like he was doing, he almost feel over however when it all become clear.
They, they… both worked for the Rockets? Sebastian was dumbfounded, completely. He mouth was agape at this juicy information and their reactions to this news would surely prove entertaining since they both obviously had no idea. Wow, just wow.
Puck was about to answer when someone popped out of nowhere and confirmed for the other that they both worked for Team Rocket. But the man never said that he did, making Puck suspicious of him. Reaching for his pokeball, Puck expanded it, but didn’t release Jack just yet. “So how do we know you work for them too and not some sort of special law enforcement or something?” It was going to take quite a bit of information to convince Puck that the man was in fact with Team Rocket, since he didn’t see the usual big red R, or even a little one, anywhere on his person.
Before any answers could be given, a figure dropped from above- shocking Sam with his quick entrance and his words.Sam’s jaw tightened but he said nothing, he didn’t know Pucks reasons for joining but he thought he knew Puck. Maybe- maybe they were similar to his? But not all Team Rocket members went in with good intentions. Sam wearily eyed the new person and tried to guess who he was, he wore a crooked grin and his eyes shone with something similar to amusement. Sam let out a breath, this guy was Team Rocket all the way. How else could he have known they were both operatives? Plus he just had that air about him, even without the red r. Stepping closer to the TR guy Sam didn’t look at Puck, “I’m going to assume youre TR and I just want to hear what you’ve got to say.” Sam forced out, not wanting to stick around.
He was admittedly surprised that Puck wasn’t fazed by the revelation. Had he really suspected him? He wasn’t going to take it personally but Sam needed to be more careful then. At the moment, his main worry was that he had basically failed the mission and he had an inkling of what TR did to those who didn’t comply. Thoughts of his family flashed briefly through his head.
Nox smiled at the two of them, loving the impact his entrance had made. The blonde was instantly more bearable as he chose not to question who he was. Although that theoretically made Puckerman the better operative, if not the better grunt. Rocket Grunt’s weren’t meant to ask questions, but then again neither one of them were technically at Grunt level yet. They were recruits through and through. Neither of them had the clearance to know the identities of other members, nor the location of any of the Team Rocket headquarters. “I don’t like you already.” He said rolling his eyes at the teen.
Quickly he took his phone out of his trouser pocket and messaged the two of them, knowing that would more than answer any qualms they had about his true identity. “I would have worn the customary shirt but it’s in the wash.” He shrugged and looked at the two of them again. They were both taller than him and considerably more well built but both lacked the training he’d gone through for 10 years. There was a reason after all why he was about to become the youngest Elite member of Team Rocket since the second in command himself had risen through the ranks. “I need you both to do something for me and in return I have a present for you both, from the higher ups. That and we thought it was about time you were made aware of each other.” In the corner of his eye he detected movement and he wasn’t sure whether to smirk or look exasperated. Somehow the two had picked up a tail, most likely someone from that group of theirs. If Nox played his cards right, he could finish his mission and get a new recruit. Hopefully this one wouldn’t be as useless as the other two.
First Order|| Puck, Sam, TR, Seb
Sebastian was really not interested in doing things for Lopez. He’d spent the tail-end of thinking of a get-out-clause for this little assignment he was giving. Sebastian was doing this for himself, not some Professor and being forced to do these asinine jobs. Maybe he could feign sea sickness or something, anything to get away and do whatever he wanted. The boat pulled up and it looked like this David guy who they supposed meet was standing at the port. He followed the rest, mind going over his excuses… when Puck and Sam made their own.
Well, that was interesting and the fact that no one else really batted that much of an eyelid was even more intriguing. The group got closer to this David guy and damn, he looked so very nice. It was such a shame he was going to bail but whatever Sam and Puck were doing sneaking away was regrettably more delicious then this guy - it was pretty close call thought he had to admit. He made the excuse of sea sickness, making a gagging noise to exemplify the charade and then left in the ‘direction of a toilet’.
If they asked, he just say he couldn’t find them after hurling or something, act all mortified about nearly throwing up in front of Lopez’ hot friend, that would surely convince any skeptics or more accurately just Kurt. So he followed Sam and Puck, he’d gotta used to traveling quietly when he snuck out at night to fuck the men of Saffron. He noticed that they both heading down to a cove really far out and seculed but didn’t seem to be following each other. This was getting better by the minute.
Puck stopped and then when Sam finally spotted him, he call out asking why he was there. Sebastian hide himself behind some rocks, close enough to hear everything but far enough to not be seen.
Puck heard the sound of footsteps approaching, expecting to see another Grunt. What he did not expect to see was Sam walking towards the Cove without a lost look on his face. No…Sam’s the other operative? While Puck had counted him as one of the very few people who could’ve joined, Puck didn’t actually expect Sam to be the second one to have joined. Truth be told, he thought it would’ve been Sebastian. But Puck didn’t have time to go all “deer in headlights” on Sam.
“I could ask you the same thing Sam. I have the idea that you didn’t accidentally stumble upon this Cove either.” Puck crossed his arms and quirked his eyebrow. Sighing, Puck leaned against a nearby tree. “So, what they give you?” Puck knew that Sam was meant to be there like him, but on the off chance that Puck was wrong and Sam didn’t work with Team Rocket, the Mohawked teen was ready to fall on his loanshark backstory.
Sam opened and clothed his mouth a few times before crossing his arms, mirroring Puck. Did he mean Team Rocket? Was Puck an operative? Sam turned hi head down fo a brief second to process the likely fact. How could he not have know, of all the people who were operatives- Sam had ni thought someone like Puck would have been one. Then again, he could say the same about himself. “Are you- are you here to get your assignment?” Sam asked vaguely, hoping that maybe Puck wasn’t with them. Taking in Pucks stance though, it seemed like something was up.
Tightlipped, Sam took a step forward and turned around to see if anyone was behind him. He didn’t see anyone but he still had a feeling he was being watched. Finally, Sam looked at Puck.”Puck.”He took a breath, “Are you working for Team Rocket?”
Pressed against the flat stone surface below him, Nox watched the scene unfold in front of him with mild amusement. It wasn’t quite the drama he’d been hoping for but the surprise on both faces was enough to satisfy him for now. He knew he should really go down and talk to them both, just on the off chance that things did escalate, but the sun was hot and he had a feeling that the two in front of him had some sort of history so fighting was unlikely. Ugh, why did they have to send him the boring ones. He’d considered turning the mission down, but he was so close to promotion to Elite status that meeting two new, and supposedly important, recruits was the least he could do.
Pushing himself up, he dropped down onto the sandy beach silently and made his way over to the two boys. Hopefully once they saw him any doubts they had over why the other was there would be alleviated. He’d opted against his usual attire, deciding that it was far subtler to not have a giant red ‘R’ embossed on the front of your clothing. Whoever had designed their uniforms clearly liked to make an entrance. “I know you two already know each other, but hey guess what, you both work for Team Rocket. Crazy surprise I know! But you can talk about it later. I have far better things to be doing than watching this play out.”
